I design with empathy. All of my color schemes, user flows, and type layouts end up in the hands of a human. It’s my responsibility to consider that person with real thought and compassion.

Currently, I work at Reality LA using design to communicate the church’s vision to the community of the church and the city of Los Angeles. It’s a work of translation that often requires listening with humility, asking questions out of curiosity, and the consistent jumps between abstract and practical thought. I’ve had the chance to not only solve problems on scores of challenging projects, but continually refine our process and work collaboratively as part of a team.

Before that, I worked as a designer at NCompass, connecting brands like Activision, Best Buy, and Toyota directly to people through live events.

My family and I live in West LA within walking distance of the best Ramen outside of Tokyo, Tsujita, and multiple Oaxacan food trucks. We’re still mourning the loss of our neighborhood treasure, Video Store Named Desire, which RedBox will never replace.
